Overview

The 30ft gooseneck Nomad is our latest model in the Nomad series. With a 6ft increase in length, it definitely becomes a good alternative for people who want to sleep 4 to 5 or for people who want that extra living room space. The overall dimensions are 8.5ft wide by 30.5ft long and 12.5ft high, with a total weight between 13,000lbs and 14,000lbs, depending on the option. We find the same comfort as in our park models with a spacious loft bedroom and high quality appliances. The interior look is contemporary with the clean lines and real wood accents. The layout is compact but optimized, still bringing the homey feeling to the occupants. This model is great for full time living on the road or as a vacation home for a family. The gooseneck Nomad is far from any other fifth-wheeler; a real 4 seasons RV that can withstand any winter in North America.

Exterior

The exterior of the Gooseneck Nomad model is made from two different types of steel: black vertical steel sheets and Distinction faux wood steel cladding. The woodgrain imitation is maintenance free and UV resistant while the other type of steel only requires a verification on the fasteners seals every 6 months. The trailer is galvanized for an increased durability and all the windows are tempered glass, residential grade. There are more windows on this 30ft Nomad than what we include on the 24ft version. The motorized folding deck option is definitely one of a kind and allows a more comfortable access to the interior of the Nomad while protecting/securing the sliding door when locked in travel position. The gooseneck attachment included allows for a more comfortable towing.

Interior

When you get inside the Gooseneck Nomad, you are facing the kitchen/dining area. The entrance features a closet where you can put your coats in the middle section along with entrance hooks on the opposite wall. The living area includes a double sofa-bed located in front of the TV area. The dinette section seats 4 people comfortably and turns into a bed that can accommodate two children or one adult for sleeping. There is a drawer on each side of the seat and the rest is occupied by the propane furnace and water heater. The table as well as the countertop are walnut laminate and they match the other wood accents in the home. The kitchen is equipped with high quality appliances; Furrion 12V refrigerator and Furrion propane range/oven. A 2 in 1 washer and dryer combo is available as an option or you can leave the space for more storage. There are plenty of cabinets despite the small space and a microwave installed on a pull-out tray in the tall pantry next to the fridge. The loft space offers a proper clearance when you sit on the bed and the windows will bring in a lot of natural light. There are cabinets on each side of the bed and another one located downstairs, next to the step-ladder to the loft bedroom.
